Door/Window Contacts

Magnetic door and window contacts are the most common sensors of any alarm system. They typically consist of a wired/wireless contact and a magnet mounted on a door or window so that the two are in contact with each other when the door or window is closed. When a door or window opens, the contact is separated, sending a message to your master control panel and our Central Station.

These small switches are ideal for all accessible perimeter doors, windows, and sliding doors. You can program your system to show the status of each contact on your keypad display window. It is common to install contacts only on windows and doors that open or are accessible.
